About the Role

Elior is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commis Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting the kitchen manager in maintaining the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and mentor members of the kitchen team in line with company procedures and policies.
  • Ensure food preparation and control meets requirements in respect of COSHH, Food Safety, and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Assist in maintaining, ordering, and controlling food stocks within budget.
  • Responsible for maintaining up-to-date product and menu knowledge, and ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness of all areas in the kitchen and of equipment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience of working within a kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong team player.
  • Outstanding time-keeping skills.
