We are pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a qualified Financial Accountant to become part of our expanding Operational Finance Team. Reporting to the Senior Operations Accountant, this role is crucial within a team of finance experts, overseeing all facets of financial and management reporting for the Group's Operations, which include Production, Recycling, and Supply Chain functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF OUR FINANCIAL OPERATIONS ACCOUNTANTS:
Serve as a strategic business partner to the Site Leadership Team
Execute financial evaluations and track costs associated with strategic projects
Demonstrate a solid understanding of variance analysis for Profit & Loss line items, including raw materials, manufacturing expenses, and overheads
Grasp the principles of manufacturing efficiencies, production yield, and overhead cost absorption
Develop operational dashboards (KPIs) and provide commentary for both internal and external stakeholders
Interpret results for Production leadership teams
Monitor Continuous Improvement initiatives, including CAPEX reporting and monthly forecasting
REQUIREMENTS FOR OUR FINANCIAL OPERATIONS ACCOUNTANTS:
Strong academic credentials with CIMA / ACCA qualification
Experience in a manufacturing setting
Familiarity with SAP systems is advantageous, particularly in production and financial modules
A valid UK driver's license is necessary
