Senior Accountant - Manufacturing

We are recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team at Eurocell, a leading manufacturer of uPVC products. As a key member of our Operations Finance team, you will play a critical role in providing financial and management reporting for our Group's Operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic business partner to the Head of Manufacturing, identifying and analysing risks and opportunities to achieve annual business unit targets.
  • Conduct financial appraisals and corresponding cost tracking of strategic initiatives, leading and managing a team of management accountants within Manufacturing.
  • Develop a strong understanding of all areas of Operations, becoming a 'go-to' person for both the operational team and members of finance Support within individual areas of manufacturing as required.
  • Support and review throughout all areas of the accounting process for manufacturing, delivering Month end reporting, Annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Analyse the performance for both internal and external stakeholders, with a strong focus on providing high-quality financial information to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Strong academic qualifications: CIMA / ACCA qualified accountant.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of managing a team.
  • SAP system experience beneficial, particularly production and financial modules.
  • Full UK driver's license.
  • Ability to work well with operational staff and translate operational opportunities and issues into financial outputs.
  • Strong team player able to provide support and guidance to both direct reports and other team members.
  • Have a proactive and positive approach and able to work on your own initiative.
  • An ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise accordingly - both with own workload and team workload.
