A Day in the Life

As a Resource and Delegation Lead within Field Operations, you will work closely with the team to ensure service personnel are delegated to various sites both in the UK and around the world. You will be motivated, self-conscious, and respectful of people within your team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Act as a Resource and Delegation Lead for Field Operations.
  2. To adhere to the delegation process incl security and immigration.
  3. To provide visa support with collation of documentation and applications where necessary.
  4. To follow and be responsible for the GM security registering for "at risk" countries and to chase approvals.
  5. To follow all Siemens Energy guidelines regarding delegation of personnel and travel policy.
  6. To meet deadlines and to update Field Operations Managers if timeframes are in jeopardy.
  7. To take responsibility and ownership.
  8. To have a flexible working attitude and be able to adapt - project work changes very quickly.
  9. Create business relationships with internal and external customers.
  10. To calculate (from given timesheets) allowances and liaise with payroll.
  11. To provide information to the traveler regarding all necessary aspects, security, immigration, and insurance.
  12. To liaise where necessary with the BCD travel center to ensure the correct booking of flights and changes are met to achieve the required delegation timeframe.
  13. To provide successful delivery of outages in line with customer, business, and project requirements for all projects
  14. To lead and maintain the outage assessment of Agency personnel and provide feedback to individuals and Agencies.
  15. To ensure the recording and maintenance of personnel records for Agency personnel, including holidays, long weekends, sick, etc. Authorisation of travel forms, expenses, and timesheets.
  16. Plan and lead Agency/Third Party worker induction days including competence management.
  17. To communicate effectively with all levels of personnel internally and externally.
  18. Assist the Field Service Operations Managers in the cross-utilization of resources within and external to Siemens Energy (Service) UK including Facility.
  19. Day to day management of SQEP process for Agency employees.
  20. Onboarding/Offboarding and maintaining records for Agency personnel with the required business tool.
  21. Encourage and Engage with our Zero Harm and general HSE policies within the Field Service department and amongst Agency employees within the Field.
  22. To monitor, check, and release Agency invoices in a timely manner and to liaise with Agency if discrepancies found.
What You Bring

Flexible to meet the changing needs of project delegation work.

Excellent communication (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
