This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client, a leading global manufacturer of sustainable products, as a key member of their Maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Investigate and resolve equipment breakdowns, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future issues.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing of equipment to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance team to develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules and improve overall equipment efficiency.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance departmental and company performance.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting of maintenance activities, including spare parts usage and equipment performance metrics.
Requirements:
- Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or similar) and 17th/18th Edition training.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on equipment maintenance and repair.
- Strong understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics, with experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
