We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Controller to join our team at Perfect Placement. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our workshop, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our technicians are working efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Allocate work to technicians within the workshop, ensuring that tasks are completed to a high standard and that deadlines are met.
- Ensure that all associated administration is completed accurately and efficiently, including maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Supervise a team of vehicle technicians, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure that they are working effectively and efficiently.
- Comply with health and safety regulations, ensuring that the workshop is a safe place to work and that all necessary precautions are taken to prevent accidents.
- Manage customer queries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Workshop Controller or in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- A full and valid UK driving license.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a busy workshop, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
