We strive to provide affordable products while raising funds to assist those in need within our communities. Your contributions as a volunteer will directly impact the lives of vulnerable individuals and families.

Volunteer Roles Available

  • Book Specialist: Do you have a passion for music, film, and video games? Are you knowledgeable about popular culture icons like The Sims, The Flintstones, or The Rolling Stones? We need your expertise to help us sort, price, research, and display our vast collection of donated books, DVDs, and music.
  • Sort Room Assistant: Are you organized and detail-oriented? Do you enjoy uncovering hidden treasures within donations? This role involves sorting through a variety of items, from vintage clothing and stunning jewelry to books and games.
  • Sales Assistant: Are you an enthusiastic and outgoing individual who enjoys interacting with people? As a Sales Assistant, you'll create a welcoming atmosphere for customers, assist them in finding desired items, and process purchases at the cash desk. You'll also contribute to maintaining a visually appealing sales floor.
  • Social Media Specialist: Are you passionate about social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram? We need your skills to help us create engaging content, manage our online presence, and connect with a wider audience.
  • Fundraiser/Recruiter: Do you enjoy being part of community events or supporting local initiatives? This role involves assisting with fundraising activities, recruitment drives, and outreach programs.
  • Accessories Specialist: Are you an accessories enthusiast who loves jewelry, bags, shoes, and scarves? We need your expertise to select, price, and display our beautiful collection of accessories in a captivating manner.
  • Bric-a-Brac Specialist: Do you have a keen eye for unique items and antiques? This role involves selecting, pricing, and creating visually appealing displays for our diverse range of donated bric-a-brac.
  • Stock Generator: Are you a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills? You'll be responsible for contacting local businesses and organizations to secure surplus stock donations, building relationships, and arranging collections.
  • Driver: Do you own a car and enjoy driving within your community? We need volunteers to collect donated items from customers' homes and deliver them to our shop. You may also assist with transporting stock between shops or delivering unsellable goods to recycling centers.
