Head Pastry Chef Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Head Pastry Chef to join our client's team in a stunning hotel near Malmesbury, Wiltshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a 3 AA Rosette environment and contribute to the hotel's goal of achieving excellence in pastry cuisine.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the pastry team in creating and developing innovative dishes for the hotel's pastry section.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to design menus that reflect the hotel's playful and fun atmosphere.
  • Manage the pastry section's operations, including inventory management and staff supervision.
  • Ensure high-quality standards in all pastry products, including afternoon tea offerings and wedding cakes.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of maintaining a Head Pastry Chef or Pastry Sous Chef position in a similar environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests and staff effectively.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team.
  • Knowledge of pastry cuisine and ability to create innovative and delicious dishes.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary of £35,000 to £45,000 per annum.
  • Tips of £200 to £300 per month.
  • Opportunity to work in a 3 AA Rosette environment and contribute to the hotel's goal of excellence.
