About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team at ARO. As a key member of our Technical team, you will be responsible for leading network projects from start to completion, mentoring team members, and providing technical guidance to project managers.

The ideal candidate will have experience in IT networking project/support roles, deploying large network projects, and working with stakeholders. You will also be responsible for delivering customer workshops and training sessions, and ensuring the accuracy of designs and solutions.

We are looking for a client-friendly, confident, and enthusiastic individual who is keen to develop their career long-term. Excellent troubleshooting skills, self-management, and communication skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead network projects from start to completion
  • Mentor team members and provide technical guidance
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure successful project delivery
  • Deliver customer workshops and training sessions
  • Ensure the accuracy of designs and solutions
Requirements
  • Experience in IT networking project/support roles
  • Experience in deploying large network projects
  • Strong experience with stakeholder engagement
  • Experience in delivering customer workshops and training sessions
  • Full UK driving license and access to own car for business use
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with HPE Aruba, Cisco, or Extreme networking vendors
  • Experience with fibre cabling and relevant optics
  • Experience with Dual Stack (IPv4/IPv6) environments
  • CCNP/ACSP/ACMP/ACP qualifications or equivalent experience
