Job Description

The Deputy Head of Schools will play a crucial role in assisting the Head of School in managing the Pathology Training programme across NHS England London Local Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Head of School in implementing national and NHS E policies in relation to the education and training of junior doctors within Pathology.
  2. Work with the London Postgraduate Deans, Training Programme Directors, and the HET team to produce doctors who will strive for the highest standards of patient-centred care.
  3. Ensure that national standards, determined by the Royal College of Pathology, and guidelines and standards established within London are met.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
