Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Practitioner to enhance the capacity of our Health and Justice Service in West Mercia.
This role will involve working closely with our existing team to provide high-quality assessments for individuals within the criminal justice system, encompassing various vulnerabilities such as mental health, physical health, and more.
We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are passionate about making a difference in a challenging environment.
Posts subject to police vetting, may require travel between criminal justice settings.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide clinical services to patients and families
- Manage complex assessments in various settings
- Supervise clinical and caseload responsibilities
- Liaise with criminal justice partners
- Prepare reports and provide recommendations to Courts
- Set and maintain quality standards
- Assess and refer patients as needed
- Develop and implement risk assessments and management plans
- Maintain effective reporting systems
- Review process effectiveness through outcome measures

- Autonomous decision-making in community settings
