Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Act as a team leader and people manager within our paraplanning team, providing guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical support to team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Training and Development: Ensure adequate training is provided where required, and team members have the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Service Delivery: Maintain output to a high standard and within agreed timescales, ensuring that our clients receive high-quality services.
- Client Support: Provide support to our firm's advisers in completing non-client facing tasks in relation to the preparation and administration of recommendations being made.
- Liaison and Communication: Liaise with advisers as appropriate, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Client Queries: Deal with client queries in an efficient and timely manner, ensuring that clients receive prompt and effective support.
- Reporting and Updates: Make sure any updates and reports are issued to clients in a timely manner, ensuring that they are informed and up-to-date.
- Portfolio Review: Review client investment portfolios, asset allocations, risk profiles, etc. when requested, providing expert advice and guidance.
- Recommendations: Prepare recommendations, including identifying and discussing areas with the adviser, undertaking relevant research, preparing documentation for review by the adviser, and preparing draft suitability reports.
- Implementation: Implement recommendations, including preparing suitability reports, completing applications/proposal forms, and ensuring that clients receive high-quality services.
- Qualifications: Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (CII) or equivalent.
- Attitude and Skills: Having a positive attitude at all times, good written/oral communication skills, and the ability to take on and understand the environment we operate in, and the issues this raises.
- Technical Skills: General IT skills, ability to compile reports, and competence in Microsoft Office.
- Desirable Qualifications: Working towards or having achieved chartered status, experience of managing a small team, practical experience with cashflow forecasting (ideally Voyant), and being a competent user of Microsoft Office.
- Flexible Working Hours: Flexible working hours, with the option to work from home or in the office.
