About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Theatre Practitioner to join our team in Coventry. As a key member of our theatre provision, you will be responsible for the operational management of our theatre services and teams on a day-to-day basis.

Main Responsibilities
  • Effective rostering of the team to meet the needs of our clinics and theatre lists.
  • Leading a team of theatre professionals, including training and coaching others.
  • Managing theatre operations, including patient flow and theatre lists.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Ensuring compliance with clinical and operational standards.

Requirements
  • Fully qualified Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner with current registration.
  • Previous experience in hospital eye services or private eye clinics.
  • Knowledge of clinical practice and awareness of current developments in Optometry.
  • Leadership experience, including team training and coaching.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills.
