Procurement Category Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Category Manager to join our team at Pod Talent. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of suppliers within the Technology category and potentially leading a team of Category Buyers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a category strategy that aligns with the company's short- and long-term goals.
- Manage a portfolio of suppliers, including negotiating contracts and resolving supplier issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to minimize potential risks.
- Support the development of the company's procurement function, including training and mentoring junior team members.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years of procurement or supply chain experience, with 2+ years in a Category Manager equivalent role.
- Proven experience in autonomously conducting cost and supply projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a complex stakeholder environment.
