Role Summary

Roan Edge Quarry, near Kendal in Cumbria, is perfectly positioned in one of the UK's most stunning regions. Kendal, known as the "Gateway to the Lake District," offers a blend of historic charm and vibrant culture. Just a short drive away, the Lake District National Park awaits with its breathtaking landscapes, including serene lakes, towering mountains, and lush valleys. Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain quarry machinery and equipment.
  • Ensure quality control of materials and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Load materials, manage supplies, and maintain cleanliness of the site.
  • Act as a responsible person on site in the manager's absence.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Experience in a similar role within the construction materials industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on approach.
