Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our high-performing aftersales team at Stephen James Group. As a Service Advisor, you will be the main point of contact for customers from initial meeting to finalizing the invoice on completion and handing the vehicle back to the customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet and greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner throughout the day
- Update customers regarding their vehicle repairs and any additional work required, while providing excellent customer service with regular communication and updates
- Maintain knowledge of our aftersales products and services
- Monitor and ensure that the completion of all service and repair paperwork is completed promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Work directly with a team of technicians allocating jobs according to time and ability while ensuring the highest levels of service
- Ensure customer vehicles are handled with care while in the responsibility of the Service Workshop and that all cars are cleaned and valeted ready for handover to the customer
Requirements:
- Possession of a valid clean UK driving license for a minimum of 1 year
- Proven experience in a Service Team Manager/Service Advisor role in the automotive industry
- Excellent administration and organizational skills, and good diary management and following up within agreed timeframes
- Passion for customer service and the ability to develop rapport and trust with customers to resolve conflict situations calmly and reasonably
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment recognizing individual responsibility to contribute to the performance and success of the team

What We Offer:
- Basic Salary: £31,500, OTE £53,000 + per annum
- Working hours are Monday – Friday, 8.00am – 5.00pm, 45 hours per week and Saturday 8.30am (1 in 3, paid as additional hours)
