Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at Stephen James (Automotive) Ltd. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex vehicle faults using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
- Perform routine service inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective workflow
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technical information and manufacturer guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
Requirements
- IMI Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance qualification or equivalent
- Proven experience working at a main dealer manufacturer or national or independent service/repair retailers (with BMW or MINI expertise)
- Proven experience working on complex repairs and maintenance of vehicles
- Must be eligible to work in the UK and have a valid clean UK Driving Licence for a minimum of 1 year
