Job Title: Senior IT Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Project Manager to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading large-scale IT projects with an element of business change.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Shaping project plans to drive optimum delivery of outputs, including planning and structuring tasks and activities.
  • Leading project delivery teams and overseeing suppliers, dependencies, milestones, and significant risks and issues.
  • Monitoring and reviewing project delivery budgets, costs, resourcing, and driving governance arrangements to support reporting.
  • Identifying and implementing quality and efficiency improvement initiatives.
  • Maintaining effective relationships with key customers and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication plans are in place.
  • Supporting major business transformation programs and driving delivery performance improvements across the portfolio and function.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering large-scale and complex IT projects with an element of business change.
  • Significant experience in leading project management and delivery, including expert knowledge of project management principles, methods, techniques, tools, and emerging trends.
  • Expert stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record in managing staff performance and developing high-performing staff/teams.
  • Supplier management and commercial acumen.
  • Network Rail experience is desirable.
  • A relevant Project/Programme management qualification is desirable.
