About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at The Kent Autistic Trust. As a Casual Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with autism and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and assistance to individuals with autism and learning disabilities in a community setting.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and hygiene, and household management.
  • Support individuals with medication administration and other health-related needs.
  • Engage in activities that promote independence and choice, such as bike rides, walks, and shopping.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a high-quality support service.
Requirements
  • Manual driving license (essential)
  • Ability to think on your feet and problem-solve
  • Understanding of autism and learning disabilities
  • Commitment to promoting independence and choice
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
