About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Lead/Manager to join our team at West Northamptonshire Council. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a multi-disciplinary design and construction delivery team on varied projects across a range of sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the successful delivery of key strategic Council priority programmes and projects.
  • Develop, plan, implement and review strategies, processes and policies that enable delivery of corporate objectives.
  • Robustly manage project and programme performance, reporting to Members, the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and external partners.
  • Identify programme delivery risks and implement mitigations to ensure successful delivery.
About You

We are looking for a construction professional with a strong track record of managing multiple projects, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of commercial issues. You will have the ability to lead and motivate a team, and bring expertise in quality design to the team.
