Job Title: Brain Injury Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Brain Injury Support Worker to join our team at Libertatem Healthcare Group. Our client requires a high level of care and support due to significant loss of peripheral vision, executive function difficulties, anxiety, and low moods, as well as Cerebral Palsy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with personalised routines, including hoists, to promote independence and dignity.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene and mobility, to ensure the client's comfort and well-being.
  • Administer medication and monitor health conditions, maintaining accurate records of care provided.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance the client's quality of life.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care and support.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care, with a strong understanding of Brain Injury and Cerebral Palsy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with the client and their family.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature to provide high-quality care and support.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to work the specified hours.
