Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at Team CV LTD. As a Forklift Driver and Warehouse Team Member, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution centre.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Forklift Operations: Safely operate a forklift to move goods and materials within the warehouse, ensuring efficient and accurate storage and retrieval.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to trade counter customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Picking and Packing: Accurately pick and pack orders, ensuring that all items are correctly labeled and prepared for dispatch.
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload vehicles, ensuring that all goods are securely stored and transported.
  • Vehicle Checks: Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure that all vehicles are in good working condition and meet company standards.
  • Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company health and safety standards.
  • Service Level Criteria: Work within service level criteria to ensure that all orders are fulfilled to the highest standard.
  • Daily Branch Proposal: Participate in daily branch proposals to ensure that all stock levels are accurately recorded and managed.
  • Continuous Stock Taking: Assist with continuous stock taking to ensure that all stock levels are accurately recorded and managed.
  • Day-to-Day Administration: Perform day-to-day administration tasks, including data entry and record keeping.
  • Participation in Annual Stock Take: Participate in the annual stock take to ensure that all stock levels are accurately recorded and managed.

Requirements:

  • Forklift Licence: Must hold a valid forklift licence.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to the overall success of the team.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workloads, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Accuracy: High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Pay: Competitive hourly rate of £12-£18 per hour.
  • Overtime: Overtime paid at time and a half.
  • Temporary to Permanent: Temporary to permanent contract, with the opportunity to become a permanent member of the team.
  • Call Out Rota: Call out rota, with a guaranteed minimum of £80-£100 per hour.
