Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Design Manager / Senior Design Manager to join our team at Randstad CPE. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the design process and ensuring that all design deliverables meet the required standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Leadership: Provide design leadership and direction to the design team, ensuring that all design deliverables meet the required standards.
- Design Development: Develop and implement design strategies that meet the client's requirements and ensure that all design deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
- Design Coordination: Coordinate the input from the technical department necessary to develop a robust design, ensuring that all design deliverables meet the required standards.
- Document Control: Manage the flow of design information and the document control process, ensuring that all design deliverables are accurately documented and up-to-date.
- Stakeholder Management: Represent the company at client/user/local authority and other stakeholder meetings, ensuring that all design deliverables meet the required standards.
- Design Compliance: Ensure that all design deliverables meet the required standards and are compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
- Design Transfer: Manage the design transfer from pre-construction to construction, ensuring that all design deliverables are accurately documented and up-to-date.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Proven experience in design management and leadership
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of design principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
