Asset Transfer Operations Specialist

A leading investment bank is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join their Wealth Management Integration team.

Job Title: Asset Transfer Operations Specialist

Location: City of London

Duration: Until 30/09/2025

Working arrangement: 4 days per week in the office, 1 day from home.

You will be responsible for coordinating outreach to HF Transfer Agents, driving the future operational set-up of the global hedge fund custodian business in Wealth Mgt, and bringing product knowledge to working group meetings to help define run-books and mitigate potential issues.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate outreach to HF Transfer Agents
  • Drive the future operational set-up of the global hedge fund custodian business in Wealth Mgt
  • Bring product knowledge to working group meetings to help define run-books and mitigate potential issues
  • Complete tasks within deadlines and provide status updates to the working group
  • Have regular contact with fund administrators, including requests to open new accounts at nominee level and general fund enquiries

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Understanding of different asset types and how they operate (hedge funds, mutual funds, bonds, equities etc)
  • Knowledge of the external Asset Transfer process and the various touch points involved
  • Strong understanding of hedge funds/asset transfers
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in asset transfer operations or a similar role within the financial services industry
  • Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
