Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Front Desk Hospitality Agent to join our team. As the face of Sonder, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences, resolving issues, and ensuring that our properties are clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Provide friendly and professional service to all guests, both in person and via phone, email, and chat.
- Guide guests through the Sonder experience, ensuring they are able to make the most out of their stay and use our technology features.
- Manage complex guest interactions, including resolving customer complaints and assisting with special requests.
- Utilize our digital communication systems to receive guest calls, SMS, and live chats, and offer immediate support from the Front Desk.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as inventory checks and minor maintenance issues.
- Ensure the maintenance, cleanliness, and organization of both guest-facing and back-of-house working spaces.
- Share knowledge with other team members, including job shadowing, coaching, and other responsibilities as requested.
- Personable, guest-centric, and positive attitude.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer literacy and writing skills, with comfort switching between multiple desktop and mobile applications.
- Organized, hardworking, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Flexible schedule and open to working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift/carry items up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods of time.
- Previous experience working in hotels, restaurants, or other customer-facing hospitality, service, and/or customer experience roles.
