Position: Pre-Sales Cybersecurity Consultant
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 (with an additional £20,000 OTE)

Company Overview:

VIQU Limited collaborates with a prominent Managed Service Provider (MSP) recognized for its expertise in digital transformation across various sectors, including industrial, trade, financial, and public domains.


Role Overview:

The Pre-Sales Cybersecurity Consultant will engage in a hybrid working model after the initial probation period, which consists of three days on-site and two days remote. The first three months will require full on-site presence.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the broader Pre-Sales team to integrate cybersecurity considerations.
  • Serve as the cybersecurity subject matter expert, delivering training and guidance to both internal teams and clients.
  • Work closely with clients to devise tailored security strategies that meet their specific requirements.
  • Partner with the sales team to formulate effective strategies.
  • Design and execute cyber incident response plans.
  • Provide expert support during cybersecurity incidents.

Candidate Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Pre-Sales or comparable role.
  • Familiarity with security standards such as ISO27002, NIST CSF, CIS, or NCSE CAF.
  • Understanding of threat management solutions and endpoint detection methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Security Operations Center (SOC) processes and protocols.
  • Ability to communicate confidently about security topics and develop proposals for clients.
