Are you a highly organized and compassionate individual seeking a challenging role in a fast-paced environment? The Emergency Department at Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a dedicated part-time Receptionist to join our team.
As a key member of the department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative and reception support to our clinical teams. Your role will involve interacting with patients, relatives, and medical staff in a professional and empathetic manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering efficient and comprehensive administrative services to the Emergency Department.
- Providing front-line support to patients and their families, ensuring confidentiality and sensitivity at all times.
- Managing incoming telephone and email inquiries for the department.
- Registering and directing patients arriving at the Emergency Department, prioritizing based on the urgency of their needs.
- Demonstrating empathy and understanding when dealing with sensitive situations involving patients and their families.
- Performing various clerical duties as required, working independently to prioritize tasks and maintain a smooth workflow.
