Overview: Our client, a prominent player in the freight forwarding sector, is seeking a skilled Import Export Customs Clerk to manage and oversee import and export clearances while maintaining communication with clients and consignees. This is a full-time, permanent role with a salary based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the coordination of import and export shipments.
  • Perform general tasks related to shipping, imports, and exports.
  • Facilitate customs clearance for imports and exports using our proprietary software.
  • Generate accurate shipping documentation through our Freight Management Systems.
  • Proactively identify and pursue opportunities with potential clients.
  • Utilize our Freight Management System along with Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Word, and Excel with precision.
  • Collaborate closely with supervisors to meet team goals.
  • Enhance team performance by sharing best practices and innovative ideas.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Air, Sea, and Road Import & Export operations.
  • Aptitude for recognizing opportunities with potential clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and database management.
  • Strong numerical skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Commitment to detail and accuracy with a strong work ethic.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
