Design and Develop Innovative Mechanical Solutions

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Recruit Engineering. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in designing and refining concepts and products using industry-standard tools such as SolidWorks and EPDM.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design marking systems for industrial applications with a focus on modularity, simplicity, and precision.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Create and maintain 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for manufacturing and installation.
  • Produce technical documentation and operator manuals for designed systems.
  • Participate in design reviews and ensure designs meet performance, cost, and compliance standards.
  • Manage design projects from concept through to production.
Requirements:
  • HND/Degree level qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design, particularly within industrial applications.
  • Strong knowledge of SolidWorks 3D design package, including Enterprise PDM and DraftSight.
  • In-depth understanding of mechanical engineering principles such as pneumatics, hydraulics, sheet metal work, and materials.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with electromechanical controls (PLCs/PCs).
  • Understanding of electrical engineering or electronics.
