About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at EDF Energy. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the full life cycle delivery of work packages, from concept through to installation, with package values of around £100 million.

You will oversee engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and construction activities, all aligned with the Integrated Project schedule. Your goal will be to ensure delivery meets safety, quality, time, and cost objectives for this iconic project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain schedules that align with project timelines and promote lessons learned and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure all contractual requirements are met and help secure the resources needed for your project.
  • Identify and resolve issues, manage risks, and escalate significant concerns to the Senior Project Manager.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver contract activities safely and on time, ensuring they meet budget and technical requirements.
Requirements

We are looking for a knowledgeable project professional with a strong understanding of leadership and its application in complex projects. You should possess numeracy, analytical, and critical reasoning skills, complemented by excellent presentation and influencing skills.

Ideally, you should be educated to degree level (or equivalent experience) in a relevant engineering, construction, or related technical subject, and holding a professional qualification in Project Management, such as APM PPQ, is a plus.
