Mobile HVAC Technician - Facilities Management Provider - London Area - Competitive Salary

We are pleased to present an exciting opportunity to join a family-owned facilities management provider. We are currently seeking Mobile HVAC Technicians to manage a portfolio of commercial properties in the London area. The ideal candidates will possess a mechanical or HVAC background (C&G / NVQ) and demonstrate a solid history in the maintenance of commercial buildings. This role involves traveling to various sites to perform planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems, with a focus on Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Fan Coil Units (FCUs). In return, the company offers a competitive salary, along with overtime opportunities and professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on pumps, motors, seals, bearings, and compressors
  • Perform maintenance on Air Conditioning systems, including AHUs and FCUs (filter changes, cleaning)
  • Reset chillers as necessary
  • Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) for temperature control
  • Maintain accurate log books
  • Assist and supervise specialist subcontractors
  • Provide support to fellow engineers
  • Deliver technical assistance as required
  • Note: This is primarily an M&E contract with minimal plumbing and fabric work
Working Hours
  • Shift pattern: 4 days on, 6 days off, followed by 6 days on, 4 days off - 07:00 to 19:00 - Days Only
Qualifications
  • City & Guilds / NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or Air Conditioning
  • F-Gas Certification - (Essential)
  • Ability to provide trade certification documentation (Essential)
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial building maintenance
  • Familiarity with critical systems: Chillers, HVAC, AHUs, FCUs, etc.
  • Multi-skilled with strong communication abilities
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Willingness to work on a mobile basis, attending multiple sites
