Job Title: Personal Assistant

Job Type: Full-time, 12 hours per week

Location: Knutsford area

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and patient Personal Assistant to support a young gentleman with Down syndrome in his workplace environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with disabilities and possess excellent communication skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the client in his workplace environment, promoting independence and confidence
  • Promote regular breaks and maintain a routine to ensure the client's well-being
  • Provide guidance and support when needed, ensuring the client's safety and dignity
  • Work independently, using initiative and problem-solving skills to address any challenges that may arise

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with Down syndrome or similar disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving license and access to a car with business insurance
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure
