What We Offer
Nova Founders Capital is searching for experienced or aspiring Managing Directors for our Search Funds. You will have the unique opportunity to acquire or start new companies to expand our existing portfolio, or become Managing Director of an existing company within our portfolio.
You will become part of an ambitious network and have a dedicated Board of Directors consisting of experienced founders, board members, and CEOs who have started, acquired, built, and exited various companies.
You will receive a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of up to 80K GBP and a significant equity stake in the company.
Your Responsibilities
As Managing Director, you will have the sole responsibility of building and growing your business. Your specific tasks will vary depending on the stage and company, but will include:
- Building a world-class organization
- Building, leading, developing, and motivating an exceptional team
- Defining and executing strategies to drive results across all functions
- Recruiting the right people and constantly developing the employee
- Being fully responsible for the P&L and day-to-day operations
What We Expect from You
- A strong work ethic with a sense of urgency
- Exceptional drive and desire to be the best at what you do
- A proactive approach and sense of ownership/responsibility of everything you do
- A humble approach and a passion for building companies and developing people
- Interest in continuous learning and proactively searching for ways to optimize
- A minimum of a bachelor's or master's degree with great results
- Top-tier academics, possibly with an MBA
- 3-7 years of experience at a top-tier consulting firm, investment bank, start-up, or company
