Warehouse Assistant with FLT

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative with a Forklift Licence to join our client's dynamic team. As a key member of the warehouse team, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations, working under the guidance of the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.
Responsibilities:- Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to efficiently pick and pack orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and complete orders for shipment, adhering to quality and safety standards.
- Receive and process stock products using the WMS, maintaining good inventory control procedures.
- Assist with stock replenishment, ensuring optimal storage and retrieval of goods.
- Book in deliveries and communicate any issues or discrepancies to management, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to Health and Safety Standards and company policies.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Forklift Licence (Bendi/Pivot Steer preferred, but at least Reach and Counterbalance) and physical ability to perform warehouse duties.
- Professional appearance and good verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with management and colleagues.
- Dependable and reliable, with a diligent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent numerical skills and computer literacy, with experience using a Warehouse Management System and bar code scanner.
- Ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and adapting to changing priorities.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed, with a proactive mindset and willingness to contribute to the team's success.
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with a 45-minute unpaid lunch break and 2 x 15-minute tea breaks (am and pm).
