Key Responsibilities- Collaboration: Work closely with the Business team in a Business Rules Management System (BRMS) environment.
- Rule Management: Engage in activities such as Rule Authoring, Validation, Testing, Investigation, and Deployment.
- Documentation: Responsible for writing and maintaining business rules within the rules engine.
- Client Support: Assist the Business team in rolling out rules-based products to clients across different regions.
- Education: Provide training to customers and end-users regarding the rules environment, including the structure and significance of rules.
- Awareness Promotion: Advocate for the benefits of business rules within the organization.
- Performance Improvement: Harvest and design business rules as part of performance enhancement initiatives.
- Decision Management: Experience in developing and maintaining Decision Management services or Decision Intelligence systems.
- Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with tools such as IBM ODM, InRule, Drools, FICO Blaze Advisor, or similar products designed for Rules Management.
- Service Requests: Ability to manage work requests, service requests, and work orders efficiently.
- Business Needs Analysis: Analyze business requirements and translate them into configurable rules, considering potential system impacts.
- Project Flexibility: Display adaptability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Business Rule Analysis within a Business Rule Management environment.
- Experience with Business Rules Management Systems for rule building, development, and rule repository management.
- Exposure to the IT project management lifecycle.
- Experience in managing diverse teams across various departments and time zones.
- Specialized knowledge in the insurance industry is highly preferred.
