Position: Senior Consultant for Youth Services

Salary: Grade 15 (£52,116- £54,129)
Permanent - 36 hours per week

Role Overview
- Specialized positions aimed at safeguarding children and adolescents from exploitation.
- Enhancing practice through leadership, mentorship, quality control, and training sessions.
- Directly contributing to the achievement of positive safety and well-being results for vulnerable children.
- Promoting ongoing advancement of Systemic Practice within social work.
- Managing a limited caseload of complex and high-risk cases.
Key Qualifications
- Registered Social Worker with Social Work England certification.
- Extensive background in statutory social work with a focus on extra familial harm and contextual safeguarding.
- Foundation level qualification in systemic practice (preferred).
- Experience in implementing interventions for children and families concerning extra familial harm.
- Capability to evaluate the needs of children, adults, and families comprehensively and analytically in high-risk situations.
- Ability to make informed professional decisions in complex cases.
