Youth Counselling Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our team as a Manager. As a Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our service, including managing a team of mental health practitioners and volunteers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to young people.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of mental health practitioners and volunteers, providing clinical supervision and support as needed.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the effective delivery of services.
- Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to promote the service and build relationships.
- Manage client caseloads, including conducting assessments and providing short-term support to young people in crisis.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding responsibilities and maintain accurate records and statistics.

Requirements- Professional counselling qualification to diploma level or equivalent.
- At least three years' experience of offering counselling/young carers support/community based interventions with young people.
- Experience in providing clinical supervision to other practitioners.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Commitment to user involvement and working in partnership with young people in the development of the service.
