Position Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Ground Operations Support Specialist at Cambridge Airport, where you will assist Air Traffic Controllers in their critical functions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support controllers in ensuring a safe, efficient, and orderly flow of aircraft operations.
- Post-employment, you will be required to obtain a Meteorological Observers qualification to prepare and distribute meteorological observations and aeronautical information for the benefit of controllers and pilots.
- Communicate vital information regarding aircraft movements, flight bookings, and other airspace activities to relevant staff and send flight plans and departure slot messages to external entities.
- In emergency situations involving aircraft, you will initiate emergency calls and adhere to the Airport Emergency Plan protocols.
- Participate in the operation of the Air Traffic Services simulator.
Qualifications:
- GCSEs/A Levels A-C are desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication abilities
- Possession of a UK driving license is advantageous
- Good color perception is essential
- Able to multitask and prioritize effectively
