About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students of all abilities, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), in a mainstream or specialist school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Classroom Management: Assist the teacher in maintaining a well-organized and structured classroom environment, ensuring a smooth learning experience for students.
  • Activity Coordination: Plan and implement engaging activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Interventions and Support: Lead 1:1 and small group interventions to support students who require additional help, using evidence-based strategies and techniques to address their learning needs.
  • Reporting and Liaison: Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to monitor student progress, providing regular updates and recommendations for future support.
Requirements
