Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable and adaptable Domestic Support Specialist to become a part of our client's household team. This position encompasses a blend of household management and childcare responsibilities for three children aged 11, 14, and 16 years.

Key Responsibilities

The role of the Domestic Support Specialist includes:
  • Housekeeping Duties:
    Work in collaboration with the Head Housekeeper to uphold the home’s cleanliness and organization. Responsibilities include:
    • Performing various cleaning tasks, laundry, ironing, and organizing household items.
    • Managing inventory and restocking household supplies as necessary.
    • Ensuring all areas of the home are consistently tidy and presentable.
    • Assisting with additional tasks as directed by the Head Housekeeper.
  • Childcare Support:
    On designated days, provide childcare assistance, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children. Responsibilities include:
    • Supervising and engaging with the children, aiding in their daily routines, meals, and activities.
    • Supporting with light meal preparation and serving for the children.
    • Handling any ad-hoc tasks or errands as required by the household.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must possess:
  • Prior experience in both domestic support and childcare roles.
  • Experience in a private household setting is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • The capability to adapt to the varying needs of the household and comfortably transition between domestic and childcare duties.
  • A positive, friendly demeanor focused on maintaining a harmonious home environment.
  • Trustworthiness, reliability, and the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.

Work Schedule

This position requires a commitment of 32 hours per week.
