Join Our Team as a Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Doonbank House Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

About the Role:

  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and medication management
  • Support residents with their mobility and transfer needs
  • Engage with residents in activities and hobbies, promoting social interaction and well-being
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure residents receive comprehensive care

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £12.10
  • Contracted hours of 30 per week, with opportunities for overtime
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave

  • Uniform provided
  • PVG paid

Requirements:

  • SVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • At least 6 months experience working as a Care Assistant or equivalent role
  • Interest in working with the elderly, with transferable skills
