Night Shift Duty Manager at M&S

Compensation: £12.63 per hour, irrespective of age + an additional £1.50 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 6am, elevating your pay to £14.13 per hour.

Work Schedule: 22:00pm - 07:00am and 04:00am to 12:00pm. Full Time (37.5 hours), any 5 days out of 7, with flexible shifts across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.

Due to specific responsibilities associated with the Duty Manager position, candidates must be at least 18 years old to perform certain tasks or work specific shifts, including handling and serving alcohol.

AS A DUTY MANAGER, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Having at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a hospitality or retail environment. Creating a clean, inviting atmosphere that exceeds customer expectations while consistently striving to enhance service. Guiding and supporting your colleagues, ensuring a safe working and dining environment, and being the primary resource for daily inquiries. Coordinating team efforts. You will oversee the unit's opening and closing, ensuring operational excellence, adhering to guidelines, and completing necessary documentation. Focusing on operational efficiency, staying informed about unit performance, championing improvements, and streamlining operations. Recognizing and celebrating exceptional service within the team, leading by example, and promoting inclusivity and motivation. Building strong relationships, communicating effectively, and making thoughtful decisions to ensure team success and deliver excellence in customer service.
