As a key member of our Future Payload Products team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the development of next-generation satellite payloads, leveraging cutting-edge digital, RF, and optical technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop future satellite payloads, including antennas, beamformers, and on-board digital signal processors for space-based applications.
  • Ensure the integration of RF, digital, and photonics hardware with firmware and software to deliver future-proof systems meeting customer needs.
  • Conduct simulations, analysis, and laboratory prototyping of digital, photonics, and RF systems.
  • Assess and manage supplier technology and equipment development, and negotiate customer requirements.
  • Contribute to concept feasibility and generation of new ideas, influencing Airbus roadmaps and strategy.

About You:

We're looking for a skilled engineer with a background in a relevant discipline, such as networking, communications, electronic engineering, computer science, physics, or mathematics. Your expertise in systems engineering, particularly in communications, satellite communications, and secure communications, will be invaluable in this role.
