Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team at Focus Management Consultants. As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for managing our supply base and delivering the supply chain strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop our supply base to ensure optimal performance and cost savings
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a Buyer or Procurement Manager role, within the UK food industry
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and decision-making skills
  • Analytical, organisational, and reporting skills
  • Ideally CIPS qualification or ambition to study towards it
  • Good understanding of contract law and procurement processes
