Our client, a leading provider of waste management services, is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join their team as a Specialist Waste Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering effective solutions to waste-water network and drainage problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure vehicle stock is fully replenished.
  • Comply with health and safety responsibilities, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe site setups.
  • Utilize software provided to manage tasks and operations.
  • Support colleagues and conduct thorough inspections of tools, equipment, and plant before and after use.
  • Report any defects or malfunctions and participate in training programs.
  • Carry out risk assessments and demonstrate a mature approach to risk perception.
  • Maintain exceptional timekeeping and log site activities for reporting purposes.
  • Adhere to company health and safety practices and BSI policies.

The ideal candidate will possess industry-recognized qualifications, including:

  • Confined Space (Full Rescue) certification.
  • High Pressure Water Jetting Certificate (HPWJA).

  • JHL Training.

  • DISAB Training.
