About the Role:

Our client, a leading company in the waste management industry, is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join their team as a Specialist Waste Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering effective solutions to waste-water network and drainage problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure that vehicle stock is fully replenished and maintained.
  • Comply with health and safety responsibilities, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe site setups.
  • Utilize software provided to manage tasks and operations.
  • Provide support to colleagues and conduct thorough inspections of tools, equipment, and plant before and after use.
  • Report any defects or malfunctions and participate in training programs.
  • Carry out risk assessments and demonstrate a mature approach to risk perception.
  • Maintain exceptional timekeeping and log hours worked, reporting back to the planning department.
  • Adhere to company health and safety practices and be aware of BSI policies and responsibilities.
About You:

The ideal candidate will possess the following industry qualifications:

  • HGV Class 2
  • Confined Space (Full Rescue)
  • High Pressure Water Jetting Certificate (HPWJA)
  • Streetworks Certificate
  • National Water Hygiene
  • JHL Training
  • SHEA Water
  • DISAB Training
