Optimum Recruitment Group Ltd is proud to partner with a vibrant and expanding organization. We are on the lookout for a talented individual to step into the pivotal role of Financial Analyst focusing on Cost Management.
In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to create and refine standard costing methodologies and cost structures for the organization. Your key duties will encompass tracking actual performance against established benchmarks, developing precise pricing strategies, and working alongside Commercial teams during the bidding process. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with systems teams to improve reporting frameworks for automated and standardized insights into project and client profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating and revising standard costings and financial models.
- Assessing project/site performance in relation to standard costs.
- Supporting commercial proposals by ensuring the correct charge rates are applied.
- Improving project and client profitability across the organization.
- Providing assistance to Finance Business Partners, the Head of FP&A, and the Group Financial Controller as required.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- A qualification in accounting is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Proven experience in standard costing, financial modeling, and forecasting.
- Experience in commercial pricing is desirable.
