We are seeking a highly skilled Building Insulation Supervisor to join our team at ETS Technical Selection. As a Building Insulation Supervisor, you will be responsible for conducting site and quality inspections to ensure compliance with pre-identified scheme requirements and building regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out general building inspections to ensure compliance with scheme requirements and building regulations.
- Provide guidance and information to installing companies and their installers while maintaining productivity and inspection quality.
- Complete technical reports on installations and works inspected, detailing areas of non-compliance.
- Act as a liaison between members of the public, installers, architects, designers, builders, and building control bodies.
- Attend site meetings and liaise with other bodies, local authorities, manufacturers, etc. to recommend and agree remedial works.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Extensive knowledge of building and construction industry practices, including product installation and maintenance techniques.
- Good knowledge of building and construction product installation techniques and procedures.
- At least 3 years of industry experience in building insulation, including EWI, cavity wall, and loft insulation.
- Relevant building and construction qualifications and membership of relevant trade bodies.
- Site engineering and management experience, with knowledge of building regulations and their application on building sites.
- Experience of liaising with site installers, housebuilders, and architects, both through site visits and via phone and email.
