Salary: £30,000+

In response to a surge in client requirements and ongoing organizational growth, our client is seeking a Lead Quality Assurance Specialist to enhance their team within the food production sector. This position operates on a 3-shift schedule.

Role Responsibilities


• Develop and ensure adherence to all food safety and quality regulations, including HACCP, relevant legislation, ISO standards, BRC guidelines, and customer-specific requirements.

• Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance across all departments.

• Facilitate root cause analysis across departments to support continuous improvement initiatives and operational procedures.

• Assist in investigating complaints, ensuring that appropriate corrective and preventive measures are implemented.

• Aid in the resolution of audit non-conformities within designated timeframes.

• Perform hygiene assessments to maintain high standards.

• Gather and present data for daily and monthly KPI reports, utilizing this information to drive quality enhancements throughout the facility.

• Promote a positive food safety culture across the organization.


Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar capacity.

• Experience in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) is advantageous.

• Food hygiene and HACCP certification is preferred.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Capacity to identify areas for improvement.

• Effective problem-solving skills.

• Competence in making and conveying decisions.
