Job Description

Orion Electrotech Automation is a leading UK manufacturer and worldwide supplier of bespoke machinery and systems. We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of high-quality machinery and equipment, working with blue chip companies in the UK and overseas. This will involve becoming a subject expert on all machinery, including the installation of new equipment, supporting clients with ongoing technical changes and issues, and providing training to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation, repair, and maintenance of machinery and equipment
  • Subject matter expertise on all machinery
  • Support clients with technical changes and issues
  • Provide training to clients
  • Cover one Saturday and Sunday per month for customer support and potential breakdowns
Requirements
  • 5 years' experience in Field Service work
  • Engineering qualification preferred
  • Enthusiasm for engineering and customer service
  • Full driving license
  • Understanding of PLC and PC-based control hardware and software
What We Offer
  • Base salary of £38,000 (OTE £45,000 to £50,000)
  • 24 days annual leave
